Dr. Stanton Garrett

Dr. Stanton Garrett grew up in Ohio and was active in 4-H special interest projects and showing many species at the county fair. Following graduation from vet school, he spent some time working as a large animal veterinarian in Kentucky. He chose to come to this area and expanded into mixed animal general practice as well as urgent care. When opportunity knocked, Dr. Garrett was excited to open Garrett Veterinary Services with his wife in 2022.

Dr. Garrett enjoys working with all animals, especially livestock.  He has a strong interest in preventative health and management practices. As an O3vets certified ozone practitioner, he is interested in integrating this treatment modality for a range of conditions. Low-stress handling is a priority in every species as he strives to make the appointments safer and more enjoyable for both owners and patients.

Dr. Jessica Garrett

A lifelong resident of southwest Michigan, Dr. Jessica Garrett was excited to return to the area to practice veterinary medicine after graduating from Purdue University in 2018. She worked in general practice and did relief work with a local urgent care before choosing to open Garrett Veterinary Services with her husband. She is happy to see animals of all kinds, including exotic pets.

Dr. Jessica is passionate about utilizing an integrative approach to provide the best treatment plan for the individual patient by combining conventional and integrative medicine. She is certified in ozone therapy through both the Shallenberger Institute and O3Vets, and she has used ozone and prolozone to help patients with everything from immune issues to musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Dr. Jessica is also a certified Fear Free practitioner, and she strives to make visits as calm and comfortable as possible for the patient.

Alicia (Receptionist & Vet-Assistant in Training)

Alicia is overjoyed to be working with the Drs. Garrett and the furbabies at Garrett Veterinary Services. She’s been working with animals for two years and specializes in wildlife, although she loves all critters big and small. A chipmunk named Gilbert Grape ignited her love of raising neonates and working with animals. After Gilly, she never stopped!

Outside of her passion for animals, Alicia is a coffee-sipping mom of two boys, a fiancé, and a student! She enjoys new foods, traveling, and is a huge fan of history. Sushi will always be her go to, if you ask her what I wants for dinner! She is ready to meet you, your family, and your furry friends and critters of all shapes and sizes!

Jenny (Veterinary Assistant)

Jenny has lived in the area her whole life. She has an Associates degree in graphic design and another in veterinary technology. She has worked in veterinary medicine nearly 11 years.

Jenny enjoys being with family, spending time with her adult children, camping, and being outdoors. She has 5 dogs, 3 cats, and cares for 5 stray/outdoor cats. She has a passion for client education and dental procedures.
